The Evolution of Word Wide Web - WWW
Introduction
World Wide Web (WWW) is the system of interlinked hypertext documents containing text, images, audio, video, animation and much more. The user can see and navigate through these documents with hyperlinks or navigation elements, and references to another document or on the section have the same document. In a broader sense: "The World Wide Web is the universe of network-accessible information, an embodiment of human knowledge."
History of the World Wide Web
WWW was proposed in 1990 by Tim Berners-Lee and Robert Cailliau while working at CERN, the European Council for Nuclear Research. Both came with their individual recommendation for hypertext systems, and later joined them and offered a joint proposal. The term "World Wide Web" was introduced for the first time in this joint proposal. The history of each invention has many pre-history. Even the World Wide Web has many prehistoric gradual development of hypertextSystems and Internet protocols, which have made possible the WWW. The gradual development began in the early 1945, with the development of Memex, a device for storing huge amount of documents on microfilm, and facilitates the organization of documents. Later in the year 1968 "hypertext" was introduced, made the linkage and organization of documents fairly easy. Launched in 1972 DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Project Agency) project that all research in order to invite in order to facilitate the exchange of data, whichlater adopted for exchanging military information. In 1979, SGML (Standard Generalized Markup Language) was invented to share documents for large projects of the Government Separation of content and presentation and thus the same document can be represented in different ways. Web development is categorized and hyped with some fancy marketing terms like "Web 1.0", "web 2.0", "Social Web", "web 3.0", "Pragmatic Semantic Web", "Pragmatic Web," and many more.
Yihong Ding, a doctoral student at Brigham Young University, in his article on "Evolution of Web" explains the development of similar Web by comparison with the human growth hormone. Yihong Ding said: "TheRelationship between Web sites and their operators is similar to the relationship between children and their parents. Along with the technological advances include web designchanged over time. First draft was just read hypertext system that allows users to read the information. User was only a spectator of what is represented on the web. Gradually, figures and tables added to the evolution of HTML and web browsers that allows a better design. Development of photo-editing tools, Web authoring tools and content management tools allowed the designers with creating visually appealing website design layouts. In the next phase of development, web –Design changed with the change in the user-friendliness and focus on the users rather than diverted to the content of the website. User interaction and social touch is to be applied to web design. Now users is not just a spectator. The user can drive the web with feedback, information sharing, assessment and personalization. Gradually, we have the sophisticated blend of function, form, content and interaction, as a Read / Write Web. Continuation of this trend is to have shown the importance of information on the Web, so thatRepresentatives of the online virtual person may be able to read and interpret the information presented. This type of web user agent, which mimic human behavior, read and understand the information is with the help of artificial intelligence as the "semantic Web.
Web 1st 0 (Read Only Web)
World Wide Web is developed in stages. The first stage was the basic "read only" hypertext system as well as Web 1.0, because the hype of Web 2.0. In fact, proposed in the original Web model, TimBerners-Lee presented, as the web-read / write model with HTTP PUT and DELETE HTTP method. Characteristics of the Semantic Web
1. Unlike database-driven websites in the Semantic Web database is notcentralized.
2. Semantic Web is the open system, where schema is not fixed, how can any data source.
3. Semantic Web requires the use of meta-description languages such as Web Ontology Language and the Resource Description Framework (RDF). Note requires much time and effort.

The development of the Internet has gone through phases as mentioned in this article, and introduced many technologies and concepts in various fields has, software, communications, hardware, marketing, advertising, content sharing, advertising, finance and much more.
